Welcome to the UST Guidance & Counseling Department!
     As part of the University of Santo Tomas community, the Guidance and Counseling Department (GCD) provides a range of professional guidance services, ranging from counseling sessions, psychological testing, academic initiatives, specialized training programs and consultation activities to all UST students to help them use their potentials to the fullest and reach their goals.

     The staff of the GCD has extensive training and experience working with students. It is committed to meeting the specific needs of individuals from a variety of backgrounds.

     In addition, the GCD personnel collaborates with members of the university community including students, faculty and administrators in promoting students’ academic success. The GCD also serves the university through its consultation and outreach services.

     As you explore the web site, please remember that written information is not a substitute for a face-to-face contact with a professional counselor. The site is designed to provide you with information about the department's programs and services as well as an avenue to extend its service for the entire UST community. If you feel you have a concern that you may want to discuss, please visit the guidance counselor in your college.
